Much to my surprise, the barstools were of very good quality, easy to assemble and looked very chic/modern once put together. The stools were priced just right and I would recommend to anyone.

I purchased two of these sets within weeks of each other and both arrived in pretty good condition--only one had experienced the scratching due to insufficient packing material (mentioned by another reviewer) which I can live with. The weird thing is that they are not exactly the same product.
The first set I got had thinner padding and different tilt to the seat cushions and no black handles on the height adjusting levers.
All four were really easy to put together and are comfortable to sit on and adjust very easily. Just beware if you have OCD or are a perfectionist and you need more than 2 stools, you may have to return a set and suffer all the headache and cost that entails.

We picked these stools instead of stools with arms so our larger sized guests would be comfortable sitting in them. They are very comfortable, cushy and the profile doesn't take over the look of the room. I think they are perfect for our needs.

Seat height is about 11.8" from the center of the seat. Base has a 15.7" diameter.
